The Torii crest is a crest that symbolizes a torii. Although there are various shapes of torii, the only one used in crests is the Myojin torii. The reason why the torii was chosen as a crest is likely due to its sacred significance, similar to the Mizugaki, Chigi Katsuo-gi, and other shrine-related objects being chosen as crests, and is based on religious significance.
