About This Design

Torn Between Dignity and Decay Fleece Blanket

Torn Between Dignity and Decay Fleece Blanket

A textured mixed-media artwork of a lion's head in monochrome grayscale realistic painting, rendered as if the top layer of paint or old poster paper is torn and peeling away in jagged organic shapes, revealing a second, more weathered and faded painted layer underneath. Visible paint drip streaks running down the canvas, heavy impasto brushstroke texture throughout. A single small accent of deep red paint bleeding through one torn section for dramatic contrast against the greyscale.

I was a little nervous to begin with, wondering about how it would turn out. I was delighted with the quality and softness of the Blanket and how well the photos turned out. I was excited to give the gift to my elderly Father. Image quality was better than I expected
