This Total Solar Eclipse painting depicts the 2024 eclipse at lake Willougby in Westmore Vermont. It's based on an original oil painting by vermont fine artist Matthew Gauvin of Edge of Nature Studio. The cool blues and greys mix perfectly into the crimson and orange horizon colours with an impressionistic style of brushwork and broken colour. The reddish tint to the mountains make the mountains seem as if they are glowing as the moon eclipses the sun.
