Tower of Set at Pima Point 4619 Print

Tower of Set at Pima Point 4619 Print

South Rim of the Grand Canyon from Pima Point (6,700 ft high). The redhorseshoe-shaped rock on the left is in front of the Tower of Set (6,026 ft high), its peak just above it to the left. The pointy tan peak at the far left is the Temple of Osiris (6,637 ft high). In the centre below the horizon is the mountain peak known as Isis Temple (7,014 ft high), completely in shadow. The pointy tan peak to the right is Buddha Temple (7,204 ft high). Below in the black trench called Granite Gorge is the Colorado River. The Grand Canyon's black rock layer at river level (2,450 ft high above sea level) includes Vishnu Basement Rocks (2 billion years ago) which are from the North American tectonic plate that collided with the Juan de Fuca tectonic plate creating immense heat and pressure. This melted the rock into dark metamorphic rock squeezing it up through cracks in the earth to become the basement of the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon began when the Colorado River started carving through the rock layers 5 or 6 million years ago.

I originally ordered this print in a larger size but was not pleased with the clarity of it. When I contacted Zazzle, they responded really quickly and were very helpful. I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it. I am so grateful to the customer service team for the professional way they handled my order. I had this printed on matt finish card and I was really pleased with the quality. The colours were rich and the image sharp.
