Train ticket montage 6 cm round badge

This has been my biggest project to date. Three years in the making. I used to work in central Wellington, New Zealand. Like many of my colleagues I would commute into the CBD by train. The various routes and colours gave me an idea. I thought it would make for an interesting montage. It also tells a story. So I collected mine and my colleagues used monthly passes each month. This took a long time. I scanned and clear cut each individual ticket in Photoshop. This also took a long time! Each ticket is individual, I didn't just repeat a colour - I kinda like suffering for my art I guess. The closer you look the more detail you see.
