Through the 70s and 80s Tumbletown on LBI in Shipbottom, NJ was an outdoor pit trampoline lot. Located on the Jersey shore kids of all ages could go enjoy a bounce. In July, the black trampolines were a cool 120 degrees. The pebble stones next to the trampoline made barefoot walking and accidental bounces only bruising. Alas, in the 80s Tumbletown went out of business. Same say it was the insurance liability. Who knows. In rememberance of Jersey shore trampolining here is the Tramp Champ jersey.
