Trevi Fountain at night - Rome, Italy Tile

This ceramic tile features Rome’s Trevi Fountain illuminated at night, with the sculptural group and cascading water glowing against Palazzo Poli. The Baroque fountain marks the terminal point of the ancient Aqua Virgo aqueduct; Nicola Salvi’s winning design was chosen by Pope Clement XII in 1732. Giuseppe Pannini completed the monument in 1762, with Oceanus commanding the shell-shaped chariot at its centre.
