This design features a painting of the American Old West by Frederic Remington (1861–1909). A member of the second generation of Hudson River School artists, Remington's works are known for depicting the Western United States in the last quarter of the 19th-century, featuring such images as cowboys, American Indians, and the United States Cavalry. This painting depicts a cavalry soldier on horseback, brandishing a revolver. He is clearly an adept horserider. The animal is galloping across a desert landscape. The original art was painted in 1892.
