True Towel Tales No. 3 of 6 Jigsaw Puzzle

16” x 20” jigsaw puzzle with a vintage image of an ad run by Cannon Mills for their Cannon towels. This ad shows four strong and handsome U.S. Marines in the jungle at shower time. One is drying off with his towel, two have towels wrapped around their waists and the fourth has his towel around his neck. Cannon Towels ran these ads in WWII which were based on actual letters they received from the boys in the field about their products. The art was done by prolific artist James Bingham which shows off his excellent skills. The art is as such to tantalise the ad's audience, women, so what's better then a bunch of scantily clad soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen for all those lonely ladies back home?
