A vintage, one-ruble Russian postage stamp from the Tsarist period, issued in 1889 (Scott Catalogue number 45), showing the imperial double-headed eagle; superimposed on an "old paper" background image to resemble an aged, antique envelope. The arched Cyrillic text reads "ПОЧТОВАЯ МАРКА" (POCHTOVAYA MARKA - postage stamp); the text below that reads "1. Roob (ruble, abbreviated)." The stamp is "cancelled" with customisable text reading "МОСКВА" (MOSKVA - Moscow).
