Sultan Marshes National Park, known locally as Sultan Sazlığı Milli Parkı, is a significant wetland ecosystem located in central Turkey's Kayseri Province. Spanning approximately 24,357 hectares, the park encompasses a diverse range of habitats, including freshwater marshes, reed beds, saline lakes, and steppe terrain. Situated between the Develi, Yeşilhisar, and Yahyalı districts, it lies at an elevation of about 1,000 metres above sea level. Established as a national park in 2006 and designated a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance in 1994, Sultan Marshes plays a crucial role in preserving Turkey's inland marshes and salt steppe habitats .
