Turkish Border Turquoise Tile Based on Tiles in the Rustem Pasha Mosque in Turkey from the Ottoman period. Vining pattern with pomegranate leaves and little plum flowers. Dark blue, dark turquoise, light turquoise, coral. Imagine using these tiles in a border in a remodeled bathroom William Morris would approve. Many of the tiles from the 1930's Malibu tile factory on the beach in Los Angeles came from these designs. From an antique slightly offset print, which adds it's own character to this tile derived from an Ottoman design.
