Tuscumbia USA Postcard

Tuscumbia is a historic city in Northwest Alabama, famously known as the birthplace of Helen Keller. Her childhood home, Ivy Green, remains a major cultural landmark where visitors can explore the site of the famous water pump where she first learned the meaning of words. The town features a beautiful downtown district with historic brick buildings and the scenic Spring Park, which hosts a large man-made waterfall and a dancing fountain. Tuscumbia's rich history is also tied to the early American railroad industry, housing the oldest railroad building west of the Alleghenies.
