This T-Shirt is based on Twisted Fleur de Lis metal sculptures that can be viewed at www.twistedfleurdelis.com. Metal sculptures with a New Orleans twist. The first steel fleur de lis pieces were made within weeks after Hurricane Katrina's wrath inflicted heavy devastation in my hometown, Slidell, LA. Why the Twist? The twisting was initially done to suggest the extreme rotational forces of Hurricane Katrina but it also came represent the status of the area after the storm. I found the shirt quality itself to be well made. Unfortunately I found that the image quality of the artwork is low resoultion. So the art and words aren't as clear. I probably wont buy another shirt to be honest, but I'm glad I supported the podcast of which I'm a fan of. I was just hoping that for the price I paid, it would have been of better quality.
