Two Funny Guys Talking About Golf and Bridge games Card

To make these humourous men, I paint a blob of paint on the watercolor paper. Then when it is dry I look to see what features pop out at me. And lo and behold, there they are in all their silliness staring back at me! The sayings seem to scream out what they are trying to convey. They are all a part of the series in the sub-category “Funny Guys”in the Card category.. I use the 'limited palette' of the three primary colours for my watercolor paintings. This produces all the shades and hues you see in my paintings. Red, yellow and blue transparent watercolor in both warm and cool shades can be mixed to obtain any colour in the spectrum. I find there is more control over the final results. My artwork covers a wide range of subjects. I paint whimsically humourous, one-of-a-kind art all the way to serious fine art. However, my passion is painting portraiture of animals and people. I love to capture the emotion of the moment. Both subjects have their own personalities. This makes the end result very challenging AND rewarding. My medium is watercolor. However, I also work with graphite, pen and ink.
