Two Young Girls Returning Home Stone Coaster

This design features a painting by the English painter, of the Victorian era, George Elgar Hicks (1824–1914). It shows two young girl sleeping next to each other as they rest in a train carriage on the journey home. They are dressed up in fine clothes and they have posies of roses and other flowers on their laps. Perhaps they have recently been to a family wedding or another grand event. The two girls are sleeping peacefully together: they appear relaxed and at ease. One of the girls has long blonde hair that is in curls, while the other girl has brown hair. The original artwork was painted in 1873.
