About This Design

txn tree holiday card

txn tree holiday card

The outside face of the card shows an electron micrograph of a gene being heavily transcribed into RNA, an early and fundamental step of gene expression. Because of its shape, this is often referred to as a "Christmas Tree." The gree tint on the micrograph enhances this association. The inside of the card states: The electron micrograph on the front documents the first step in gene expression. The DNA gene positioned vertically in the centre is being transcribed into RNA by RNA polymerase enzymes. The polymerases that have travelled furthest down the gene have produced the longest RNA chains.

Such a huge range of different animals available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! This is perfect for my gecko loving cousin for Christmas! Top quality card and one no body else will have to gift to her!

Absolutely love them, gorgeous and look just as great when you receive them. The printing, colours etc are all amazing, such a quality product, only downside was having to wait so long for them.
