    Presenting a beautiful collection of mugs bearing black and white images of ports and harbours as they existed in 18th—Century Britain. The image on this product offers a view of Tynemouth Lighthouse and the Priory area and shows a life-boat in the act of saving the crew of a vessel which has struck the rock on which the lighthouse is built. This area is quite treacherous. It is said that more vessels have been lost here trying to enter the Harbour in stormy weather, than at any other Harbour in Great Britain. The area reached its peak with the rise of the industrial revolution.

    Purchase of the 7th Cavalry Mug was a last minute addition to my purchases and I am really pleased I acquired the Mug. The one I purchased was a "large" but wow, it is large - Extremely well made and just to Mug to put down at a coffee time with a bunch of mates. Early days, but the colours and motifs (there are two) withstand the washing and look great.
