Many years ago, decades even, medical researchers have said we'd find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. Yet, greedy pharmaceuticals make billions in profit off of this chronic autoimmune disease. Why would they allow anyone to continue their research even when it's promising or suitable enough to be a practical cure (aka artificial pancreas, but still insulin dependent).
