Title : 雪の橋立(Yuki no Hashidate / Amanohashidate in Snow) Souvenirs of Travel, 2st Series
Amanohashidate is located in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture. Together with "Matsushima" in Mutsu and "Miyajima" in Aki, it is one of the three most scenic spots in Japan.
Artist :川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui / かわせ はすい)
He was a printmaker active from the Taisho to Showa periods. He travelled throughout Japan and painted lyrical depictions of the beautiful local scenery.
Steve Jobs was also a favourite of Kawase Hasui's work.
