富嶽三十六景　神奈川沖浪裏（fugaku sanjūrokkei, kanagawa oki nami ura / ふがく さんじゅうろっけい かながわ おき なみうら / The Great Wave, from the series Thirty-six View of Mount Fuji） ”Thirty-six View of Mount Fuji" was created by 葛飾北斎（Katsushika Hokusai） [1760-1849], an ukiyoe artist, who used Mount Fuji as his subject matter. This is a collection of landscape paintings that vividly expresses life and customs. Fugaku is another name for Mount Fuji.
