UNESCO WHS - The Great Pyramid of Giza Postcard

UNESCO WHS Serie - World Heritage Sites in Eqypt - Memphis and its Necropolis – the Pyramid Fields from Giza to Dahshur - The Great Pyramid of Giza - ممفيس ومقبرتها منطقة الأهرام من الجيزة إلى دهشور - The capital of the Old Kingdom of Egypt has some extraordinary funerary monuments, including rock tombs, ornate mastabas, temples and pyramids. In ancient times, the site was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. Based on a mark in an interior chamber naming the work gang and a reference to the Fourth Dynasty Egyptian pharaoh Khufu (Cheops), Egyptologists believe that the pyramid was built as a tomb over a 10- to 20-year period concluding around 2560 BC. Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Much better quality than you can buy in the shops and they are exactly on the subject I love and adore too.
