This unicorn tapestry is an enhanced reproduction of the "The Unicorn is Found" tapestry, which is the second tapestry of a series of seven mediaeval tapestries that showcases the mythical unicorn.The series is entitled "The Hunt of the Unicorn" which are also referred to as the Unicorn Tapestries". The tapestries were created from 1495-1505. This Unicorn is Found tapestry shows a group of mediaeval noblemen and hunters, as well as all kinds of ferocious lions and leopards. There is a unicorn at the front, a beautiful white unicorn, which has its horn pointed downward as it kneels. There is a mediaeval fountain between the unicorn and the huntsmen.
