UNIVERSITY of LIFE T-Shirt
The idea/concept offers a universal “University of Life” logo to persons who acquire knowledge, wisdom and skills from life-learnt experiences (i.e., in or from their own life experiences), and the more experiences we have the better equipped we are to make the next move. (Memories also shape who we are). They can wear the logo in a symbolic tribute (or accreditation) to that fact; hence “School of Experience”. Earth is our “Campus”. There are no graduates as it is a life long journey…even in death. It is for ALL generations.
Designer: Denis G. Manuel. University of Life (©).
SHAPES:
Outer oval: Representative of our Universe. Inner oval: Represents our planetary home, Earth, our one world on which all mankind lives and where we transit through our varied experiences of “life”. Outer circle: Representative of the universal natural cycle of all life on Earth, including our own, and implicitly, the circle of ‘time’. Inner circle: A “ring” encapsulating the unity of all humanity, and yet within it a ‘sphere’ of human diversity. Inner sphere curves: These are symbolic of all our past, present and on-going experiences in life, a constant, unceasing flow of whirling movement. They are illustrative of continual change and evolution in life.
Total shape: Can be seen to be representative of an all-seeing “eye” (vision).
COLOURS:
GREEN: Represents our living Earth (earth): that which sustains our lives. It is also symbolic of our Life, what we ‘experience’ through ‘living’, through growth.
YELLOW: This represents our necessary life giving Sun. (Symbolic note: a ray of light from the Sun can be decomposed into the primary colours, viz. red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Four of these compose this logo.) The yellow apposing shapes are symbolic of the embracement of life’s experiences.
RED: Represents the human commonality of our blood. (The genetic human bond). Also symbolic of the ‘flow’ of experiences and the genetic collectivity of our accumulated experiences.
WHITE*: The white area forms the initial shape of a newborn infant in the womb and is representative of purity (and inexperience) at that beginning stage in our lives. Our foundation (the tabula rasa) upon which we will build ‘experiences’ and thus learn. Also symbolic of the unseen air we all breathe.
BLUE*: Representative of the water of life. (The symbolism is that of an ocean wave). Blue water is also symbolic of the experiential ‘stream’ of life. Water is also essential for life.
*NOTE: Our Earth (that we all share), from space, also looks blue and white.

I found the shirt quality itself to be well made. Unfortunately I found that the image quality of the artwork is low resoultion. So the art and words aren't as clear. I probably wont buy another shirt to be honest, but I'm glad I supported the podcast of which I'm a fan of. I was just hoping that for the price I paid, it would have been of better quality.
