Uptown Theatre Welcome President Obama Kansas City T-Shirt

If you want a keepsake from President Obama’s visit to Kansas City at the Uptown Theatre, July 30, 2014, this is the perfect way to remember this historic day. The Uptown Theatre is a smaller venue with a rich history and beautiful design, inside and out. I was lucky enough to be at the event, up front and centre, and shook Obama’s hand. I waited many, many hours to secure a ticket, then many, many hours to secure my place in line, my friend and I nabbing the number one spot and being the first in the door. I photographed the marquee of the theatre when it was lit up at night and created this cool design to commemorate the event.
