    On October 28, 2021 the U.S. Coast Guard Merrimack River Station set out in a nor'easter through the mouth of the Merrimack River for surf training. In the words of the station, "Our Motor Lifeboats weigh 40,000lb and are capable of rolling over, re-righting themselves and continuing on with the mission at hand! Our crews wear harnesses connected to the boat so personnel do not go overboard should this happen." This mug depicts a capture from that day when a very brave crew took air over the very high seas.

    Purchase of the 7th Cavalry Mug was a last minute addition to my purchases and I am really pleased I acquired the Mug. The one I purchased was a "large" but wow, it is large - Extremely well made and just to Mug to put down at a coffee time with a bunch of mates. Early days, but the colours and motifs (there are two) withstand the washing and look great.
