The Five Solas are five Latin phrases or slogans that emerged during the Protestant Reformation to summarise the Reformers’ basic theological beliefs and articulate faithfulness to Biblical Christianity. They are: Scriptura - Sola Scriptura ("by Scripture Alone"): The Holy Bible alone is the ultimate, authoritative and infallible word of God.
