About the artist: Maurice Brazil Prendergast (1858-1924) was an American Post Impressionist artist who worked in oil, watercolor, and monotype. The style of his art had a mosaic like beauty.

    Purchase of the 7th Cavalry Mug was a last minute addition to my purchases and I am really pleased I acquired the Mug. The one I purchased was a "large" but wow, it is large - Extremely well made and just to Mug to put down at a coffee time with a bunch of mates. Early days, but the colours and motifs (there are two) withstand the washing and look great.
