Vegetable Fields (1911) by August Macke is a vintage expressionism fine art agricultural painting. A landscape of vegetable fields on a farm with a path that splits into two lanes and haystacks in the distance. Vibrant colours. about the artist: August Macke (1887-1914) was a leading member of the German Expressionism group Der Blaue Reiter, The Blue Rider. He saw the development of the main German Expressionist movements as well as the avant garde movements which were forming in the rest of Europe.
