This design features a painting by the Italian Impressionist artist Vincenzo Caprile (1856–1936). It depicts a man selling vegetables from a gondola on a canal in Venice, Italy. A gondola is a traditional, narrow, flat-bottomed Venetian rowing boat, which is propelled by a single oarsman using a long pole and often used for transportation on the canals of Venice. The man is leaning against the doorway of a house at the edge of the canal as he holds his oar in the other hand, steadying his boat. There are all kinds of wonderful vegetables on his gondola, including tomatoes, onions, cauliflowers and many other green vegetables. The water is reflecting the colours of the vegetables on the man's gondola.
