Considered by many to be the most common and popular among all the chameleons, the veiled chameleon is easily identified by the casque that tops its head. This beautiful arboreal (tree-living) lizard is well-suited to live among humans. Its frequently changing colours, extremely long and sticky tongue, and (of course) the distinctive cone atop its head make it a delight to observe. Find matching postage stamps in our gallery.
