This is an oil painting I make for a collectable card game, back in 1996. I was hoping to get a number of cards with beautiful things to paint, since the trilogy the game was based on is full of gorgeous scenes and imagery. But no, I got another dead thing that was too rude to be quiet and lay still. Oh well. At least there was lots of pretty treasure to paint!
