Darlington, Runk & Co. was a Philadelphia importer of silks, brocades, other fine fabrics, passementerie, and other ladies accessories from about 1870 to 1900. The image here, from my personal collection, is one of the more attractive Darlington Runk trade cards. (There are a number of them to be found on the ‘net.) This one looks super-neato on all kinds of EVERYTHING, including neckties. Note that my store has oodles more ties with oodles more Victorian trade card images. Wanna see more old?
