National flag of Vietnam The Vietnamese national flag is red in colour with a single five-pointed yellow star in the centre. It is also known as the “red flag with yellow star”. It was adopted in 1945, and has a 2:3 ratio. Note that any distortion in the preview image is caused by compression artefacts, and won't be printed.
