Cafe Terrace at Night (The Cafe Terrace on the Place du Forum) (1888) by Vincent van Gogh is a vintage Post Impressionism fine art architectural painting. An outdoor restaurant serving dinner to customers at outside tables. A daily life architecture scene with people walking by and stars in the sky. It is an unsigned painting, but van Gogh makes mention of the painting in several letters to his brother Theo. About the artist: Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853-1890) was a Post Impressionist painter whose work was most noteable for its rough beauty, emotional honesty, and bold colour.
