Yankee Volunteers Marching into Dixie: Yankee Doodle Keep it Up, Yankee Doodle Dandy. J.H. Bufford lithograph, Boston. 1862. Vintage sheet music cover reproduction shows Union soldiers marching into the South at the start of the USA Civil War. Soldiers wear uniforms typical of Brother Jonathan or Uncle Sam, with top hats and striped pants. The front soldier is carrying the American flag. Restored by VintageSketch to repair age damage. Makes a great patriotic birthday, Christmas, or other holiday gift for anyone who loves United States history!
