Vintage American West Art, Grand Canyon by Leigh

Grand Canyon (1911) by WR Leigh is a vintage fine art American West landscape painting. A big horn sheep animal is on the rim. A beautiful view of the Grand Canyon with the Colorado River meandering at the base of the cliffs. About the artist: William Robinson Leigh (1866-1955) was one of the most prolific painters of the American Wild West and is well known for his dramatic images of Western landscapes, wildlife, cavalry, cowboys, and American Indians. Leigh travelled all over the West, painting the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Forest.
