5 different Victorian Era vintage illustration Merry Christmas holiday designs from the book Santa Claus and His Works. Published by McLoughlin Brothers in 1889. The story tells of Santa's work making toys for all the good little boys and girls around the world. Scene one is featuring cover art from the book with a classic old Saint Nicholas with a long white beard sewing clothes for toy dolls. Scene two is Santa checking his Naughty or Nice list. Scene three is Santa in his workshop at the North Pole building toys for the children. Scene four is Santa sewing dolls. Scene five is Santa on a ladder with a decorated Christmas tree.
