Elegant cupid with golden curls holding a pink rose and an archer's bow warns of the perils of love. This charming 19th century lithograph was done by a woman engraver based on a work by the early 19th Century artist Jeanne-Elisabeth Chaudet. It has been hand-colourized by us based on a black and white original.
