About This Design

Vintage Doll Cat Postcard

Vintage Doll Cat Postcard

You know what it's like. You have a gorgeous but needy real life baby on one hand, and on the other there's a beautifully crafted, impeccably behaved ornament of a fantasy baby. Mmm .. which do you prefer...? Louis Wain, famous English cat artist, tongue firmly in cheek, created this quandary for a cat mum in a fantasy painting. The gorgeous long haired cat mother with appealling big eyes looks particularly attached to the decorated blue cat ornament in her paw, much to the disquiet of her real life kitten who looks very worried indeed! Called "Which Do I Love Best?" the card would be perfect for lovers of vintage cat art, singletons, and people with a black sense of humour!

Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Much better quality than you can buy in the shops and they are exactly on the subject I love and adore too.
