Vintage Don Quixote Book Cover

A card with a photo of a battered old copy of the famous novel Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. The story of the hapless middle-aged gentleman from the region of La Mancha in central Spain originally penned in 1605 was voted the greatest book of all time by the Nobel Institute. Printed by Warner & Co of London probably around the early 1900s, it's part of their Prize Library series and dates back to the days when students were awarded books for excellence. The title Don Quixote is in blue on a gilt panel framed by an illustration of curling yellow, orange and green ivy. The card would suit lots of occasions and would be fun to send to an ageing Valentine, hopeless romantic, adventure lover or vintage book collector. You can personalise the card with your own message on the inside using the customise button.
