Vintage Easter Rabbit Running Hare Trio Spring Cushion

In natural soft spring colours, this vintage - look pillow features my tile mural artwork of three rabbits or hares chasing in a circle and sharing just three ears. The traditional folk verse, "Rabbits three and ears as few - Yet each rabbit has its two" is written in the encircling band. Each corner is decorated with paintings of flowers from one of the Four Seasons. The centre of the circle is mint green, which also borders the entire design along the edges. The rabbit trio motif is an ancient design, found in art & architecture throughout Europe & the Middle East. The mystical symbolism suggests rebirth and unity.
