A vintage illustration by Cecil Aldin featuring a scene from a hunt. Barking and baying hounds dance and jump around the base of a gnarly tree as a red fox lies safely on a thick tree branch watching them from above. The British artist and illustrator, Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin RBA (1870-1935), was best known for his paintings and sketches of animals, sports and rural life.
