Vintage Girl with Puppy & Kitten,

Vintage artwork by Emile Vernon features a little girl of yesteryear with blonde curls tucked under a straw hat festooned with cherries. She sits on the steps of a house holding a bowl of milk in her lap for her pet kitten who sits beside her. In her other arm, she holds a little puppy who would probably also like to have some of that milk. The artist, Emile Vernon (1872-1919), was a French fine arts painter who specialised in watercolors. He enjoyed painting women and children in bucolic settings, sometimes with their pets. He lived and worked primarily in Paris. This card is blank inside for your own message.
