Vintage Henri Latour Flowers chrysanthemums Poster

A beautiful print of "Chrysanthemums" an oil on canvas painting created in 1889 by Henri Fantin-Latour. Recognised for his flower paintings and group portraits of Parisian artists and writers, Henri Fantin-Latour (1836 –1904) was a French painter and lithographer. Fantin-Latour was a friend of several artists, including Edouard Manet and James Abbott McNeill Whistler, who would later be associated with impressionism but in spite of this his own work remained traditional in style.

The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it. The colours were rich and the image sharp.
