Vintage Japanese Lobster and Bird Coaster

This cool creature coaster features a lobster and mythological bird from Chinese folklore called a dapeng. This piece was originally created and printed from a woodblock by famous ukiyo-e master Utagawa Kuniyoshi, in his Kinju Zue (Birds and Beasts Picture Collection), circa 1837.

My coasters arrived and one was chipped. I got in touch with Zazzle and had no trouble getting a replacement. I was refreshed with how easy and it was and how customer-focused their service was. The colours are good. Just note these coasters are clay not furry.
