Vintage Japanese Yokai Oni King Fine Art Coaster
This coaster features a closeup of the severed head of the oni king Shutendōji of Oeyama, from an 1858 Japanese woodblock print by master Utagawa Yoshitsuya (aka Ichieisai Yoshitsuya). Oni are a type of yokai monster in Japanese mythology, similar to ogres. Shutendōji was the leader of the oni in his time, and is known as one of the three great evil yokai of Japan. He was ultimately killed by the samurai Minamoto no Yorimitsu.

My coasters arrived and one was chipped. I got in touch with Zazzle and had no trouble getting a replacement. I was refreshed with how easy and it was and how customer-focused their service was. The colours are good. Just note these coasters are clay not furry.
