Vintage - Kittens and Parrot,

Vintage artwork by Carl Reichert features a group of kittens who have opened a bird cage and let a parrot out so that they can explore inside the cage. The parrot calmly sits on top of the cage, seemingly unafraid of the kittens. The Austrian artist, Carl Reichert (1836-1918) was the son of Austrian portrait and animal painter, Heinrich Reichert. Carl, born in Vienna, followed in his father’s footsteps as a painter of animals and town scenes, but he was most famous for his paintings of animals, especially dogs and cats. This card is blank inside for your own message.
