Vintage Lady at a Writing Desk,

Vintage artwork by Emile Vernon featuring a lovely lady of yesteryear sitting at a writing desk with pen in hand as she attends to her letters or paperwork. She holds a dainty cup of tea in the other hand. She's fashionably dressed in a pale blue jacket with black trim over a cream colour dress. Her wide-brimmed picture hat matches her jacket perfectly, and is festooned with blue feather plumes. She also wears a white fur stole around her shoulders. The artist, Emile Vernon (1872-1919), was a French fine arts painter who specialised in watercolors. He enjoyed painting women and children in bucolic settings, sometimes with their pets. He lived and worked primarily in Paris. This card is blank inside for your own message.
