Original vintage poster done by G. Journeau; Paris, France. Vintage Label Art are paper labels that have been used since the early 1880s. They were introduced to America by European artists, and this printing process became known as lithography. This was one of the first forms of commercial art. This is a French advertisement for ‘Sirop de Citron’ which may be a lemon cordial or liqueur and would be a great print for a kitchen or bar.
